The First Miles is alternative countryrock, with a reputation of exciting live gigs, - starting up boot stomp, air guitar and tender kissing. After hiding four years recording, the second album, Ride against the wind, is now finished. The album is potent highway rockers, and romantic country ballads – about the winding roads through love, longing and dried blood, on the hunt for happiness. The debut album "Aim for the Heart, Go !" was released in 2005 in Denmark, Sweden and Norway - and distributed in North America by It's a Trap. The album received a lot of praise by roots rock reviewers, who named The First Miles as "the alternative country of the future” - and the band was announced as “Band of the week” by the Danish national radio P4Rock.
